Text Box: ZACH SIMPSON—TEACHING PROFESSIONAL USPTA Level 2 ** Private Lessons Available for ALL AGES 1 hr.=$40 ♦ 45 min.=$30 ♦ 30 min.=$20 (1 to 4 players per lesson) Zach Simpson, a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, began playing tennis at the age of seven. He trained for junior tennis throughout high school at Louisiana’s largest tennis center, John Wahlborg Tennis Center (JWTC). He played competitive tournaments as a high school junior and was ranked highly in Louisiana and in the Southern division. Zach acquired his teaching skills as an instructor with JWTC for several years during college while he was also pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. After attaining his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering, Zach worked as a professional engineer and also as an administrator for a large church in Baton Rouge. In 2007, he acquired his USPTA instructor certification and joined the coaching staff again at JWTC to work with their junior program as well as teach individual private lessons. He recently moved to Huntsville and is currently helping launch Building Church, a new church plant meeting in the Jones Valley Rave Theater. PAUL ROBIN—TEACHING PROFESSIONAL USPTA Level 1 ** Private Lessons Available for ALL AGES 1 hr.=$45 ♦ 30 min.=$25 Paul Robin hails from Sydney, Australia where he grew up playing tennis and was taught by such greats as Newcombe, Roche and Rosewall. His coaching expertise comes from coaching the men and women’s teams at Brunswick College (GA) and Auburn University at Montgomery, where he received his BSBA in Finance. He coached the first team from Huntsville to make it to the USTA Nationals, Held Southern ranking in both men’s singles and doubles and has played Senior Cup for Alabama. Paul is USRSA Master Racket Technician. He has been a pro at O’Connor Tennis Center and Lagoon Park in Montgomery, head pro and owner at Huntsville Atheletic Club, Director of Tennis at Jones Valley and currently teaching at the Huntsville Tennis Center.
