August-September: The Slice-forehand, backhand, drop shot slice, when to use it, how to play against it.
September: The Lob-how and when to use it and how to stop it.
October: The Volley-forehand, backhand, drop volley, swing volley.
November: The Top-Spin forehand and backhand, combine the shots to create shot strategy.

Huntsville Tennis Center, founded in 2005, has been a well-known public facility with 30 clay courts and six hard courts. We host tournaments, leagues and also offer private lessons for people of all ages. 

United States Tennis Association (USTA) League

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) leagues conduct well-organized team matches as per the player’s ability levels. It is open to women and men that are 18 years or above. The program features a local, state, and sectional championship and finishes with a national championship for every skill level (this description is derived from the USTA website).

Beginner USTA Tennis

The USTA has founded the National Tennis Rating Program (NTRP) to classify players as per their ability to make league matches more competitive and fun. Men and women that are new to tennis who are at least 18 years of age and desire to play with others at their skill level are required to drop in for these clinics. Don’t worry if you are not yet ready for league tennis. The whole idea is to help you have fun as you learn to play matches.

The Huntsville Women’s Tennis Association (HWTA) encourages all female tennis lovers to join. We sponsor round robins, tournaments and leagues, and many fun social events across the year. USTA Introduction to League for Men and Women

This league is for men and women that are new to tennis and are at least 18 years old. The United States Tennis Association (USTA) has established the National Tennis Rating Program (NTRP) to segregate players according to their ability to make it fun and competitive.
