Mixed Round Robin Tennis

  • Adult men and women informal group meet on Friday from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM for round-robin tennis.
  • No additional fees to participate, other than a $7.00 court fee
  • Players should show up 5 minutes before the start time.
  • Adult Mixer Timings: Friday 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
  • Adult Doubles Round Robin Tournament starting May 1st 2021. Check Announcement page for signup instructions.

This program involves advanced beginner stroke drills, court positioning, strategies, and games. Come as a doubles team to learn to play together better.

ADULT MEN ONLY – USTA 3.0-3.5 CLINIC

Monday from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM ($10) – 8 person max

This session involves lots of drills and gameplay to improve your game.

ADULT MEN & WOMEN – USTA 2.5 INSTRUCTIONAL CLINIC

Huntsville Tennis Center, founded in 2005, has been a well-known public facility with 30 clay courts and six hard courts. We host tournaments, leagues and also offer private lessons for people of all ages. 

United States Tennis Association (USTA) League

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) leagues conduct well-organized team matches as per the player’s ability levels. It is open to women and men that are 18 years or above. The program features a local, state, and sectional championship and finishes with a national championship for every skill level (this description is derived from the USTA website).

Beginner USTA Tennis

Huntsville Tennis Center

The USTA has founded the National Tennis Rating Program (NTRP) to classify players as per their ability to make league matches more competitive and fun. Men and women that are new to tennis who are at least 18 years of age and desire to play with others at their skill level are required to drop in for these clinics. Don’t worry if you are not yet ready for league tennis. The whole idea is to help you have fun as you learn to play matches.

 

Men and Women Getting Back Into Tennis Clinics

Huntsville Women’s Tennis Association

The Huntsville Women’s Tennis Association (HWTA) allows all-female tennis lovers to join. We sponsor round robins, tournaments and leagues, and many fun social events across the year. USTA Introduction to League for Men and Women

This league is for men and women that are new to tennis and are at least 18 years old. The United States Tennis Association (USTA) has established the National Tennis Rating Program (NTRP) to segregate players according to their ability to make it fun and competitive.

The 3.0 level is for players who are new to tennis. They can play with others at their skill level. For more information, please follow this link.
