HATA Summer Women's 2.5 Beginner Clinics -  There will be four beginner training classes for women led by Stephen Kee, USPTA Teaching Professional.  We will work on rules, courtesies, hitting, serving, and score keeping.  The main goal of these classes is to prepare you to join a team and play tennis in the USTA Combo and Fall Leagues.  However, you do not have to sign up to play league tennis in order to attend the practices.  The first class/practice session will be held on Saturday, July 9 from 9:00 - 11:00am at the Huntsville Tennis Center (HTC). There will be three additional sessions on the following three Saturday mornings (July 16, 23, and 30) also from 9:00-11:00am.  You may attend any or all of the sessions.  If you cannot attend any of the sessions, but would like to play league tennis, email your interest to  Feel free to attend even if you have already played in the league and would just like additional training.  Especially, if you stopped playing league because you felt you just weren't good enough.  You're probably being too hard on yourself, but we can help.  We will hold the first session regardless of the weather.  If we can't hit, we will discuss the information needed to get signed up, feel comfortable with what is expected in league play, and meet other players with whom you will share the experience.  Please bring $20 cash for the training booklet and $7.50 cash or $8.00 credit card for court fee. Also bring water or sports drinks, because HTC does not have water on the courts. If you don't have a racquet, there will be some that you can borrow. Please pass this info along to friends and family that might be interested.
