2024 Youth Activities Calendar

• This Fall we offer lots of options for your players to develop their tennis skills and love for tennis! 

  1. Home School Youth Tennis - All ages, Tue/Wed mornings - returns after Summer Camps!
  2. Tiny Stars Drop Ins - Ages: 4-7 - is over for the Spring, Sessions will return Sep 3rd, following Labor Day!
  3. Youth Beginner Youth - Sep, Oct, Nov - 4 Week Programs - Ages 7-17 - beginning Sep 9th!
  4. Advanced Youth Tennis Program - for experienced/motivated players - Returns Aug 13, Tue/Thu, 4:30-6:00pm! 
  5. Private Group or Individual Lessons - with one or our Coaches - is always available for all ages!

Tiny Stars Information - Restarts Sep 3rd! - Tue/Thu - 3:30-4:15 - $15/session

• A great drop-in program to help you new players get a great start to tennis!  We do ask parents to have consistency in coming if at all possible.  Please let us know if you plan to come both Tue and Thu, or just once a week, etc.  Our goal is 4-6 players per coach - so we can add a second/third coach when we get higher numbers.
• We provide the balls, and if you don't have a racquet yet, we have loaner racquets and at your first session, we can tell you what size to purchase when you're ready.  (generally $20 at Walmart/Sports Academy/etc.)
• We separate the 4-5 yrs and 6-7 yr olds.  Our 4-5s use the Large Red Tennis Balls with a small tennis net.  Our 6-7s use orange dot balls and the standard tennis net.

Fall Youth Beginner Tennis Programs! 

We will offer 3 - '4 Week' Programs!

One each month;

• Sep (Sept's Program is FULL)
• October Program begins Oct 14th! 
• November Program begins Nov 11th! 

These programs are a great way introduce tennis to your new players -  with no experience to a Game Ready Player!

Players can attend just one program or more for more development and fun!  

• Mondays and Wednesdays
• - 3:30-4:30 - Ages 10 & Under
• - 4:30-5:30 - Ages 11+ -
• We have loaner racquets too!
• Four weeks of development - From Volleys, to Groundstrokes to Serves, and how to play a full game of tennis.
• Players are not required to attend all sessions - please note what you can attend on the Sign Up form.

HTC Advanced Youth Tennis Program - Tue/Thu is over, This Group is during Summer Camps June/July - Registration is Reguired!  Aug 13th, this program will return to Tue/Thu, 4:30-6:00pm!

Youth Advanced Tennis Group to give highly motivated youth players an opportunity to develop their tennis skills to play high school tennis, play USTA Youth Tournaments or simply wish to develop their competitive tennis skills to the highest level.

Four levels of players are supported from Age 8-18.  Advanced Beginner, Green Ball, Intermediate and Advanced (High School Elite Players Program).

Home School Youth Tennis with Roland

Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Beginning August 20th-December 11th, 2024  

GROUP A: This class offers a wide range of tennis activities and game play. It is a low-cost, non-committal way for kids to get exercise and/or gear up for competitive play.  No special clothes are needed for this class, just tennis shoes and a racquet. Play will be held at the Huntsville Tennis Center on the  and play times are based on  skill level, and participation.  

GROUP B: This class offers a more competitive environment for players looking to take their game to the next level, high school, college, and beyond. This class will offer training, fitness, and strategy to go along with match play.

Group A Players will play Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00am-10:00am
Group B Players will play Tuesday and Wednesday 9:00am-10:30am

Always check court status at www.huntsvilletenniscenter.com if bad weather is forecasted on the scheduled dates.
